Information we collect and how we use it:

In general, user data is not identifiable to individual users. The information collected is generally for account set up and business purposes. Some business purposes may include sharing statistical use information with NexGen’s agents in order to provide a better user experience and optimize its suite of products. If User is part of NexGen’s Enterprise Client offering, then User’s personal and use information may be shared with User’s employer to track log-in, analytical, and app navigation data.

In order to provide our full range of services, we may collect the following types of information:

1. Information you provide – When you sign up for an NexGen account or other NexGen Service or promotion that requires registration, we ask User for personal information (such as your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, and an account password). We may also include optional personal information requests such as certain demographics, place of work, gender, etc. For certain services we may also request a credit card or other form of payment account information which will be processed in encrypted form on secure servers through highly reputable and common third party payment systems. We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other NexGen services or third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services through the use analytical use data.

2. Cookies – We may send cookies to your device while using our Service. NexGen features and Services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.

3. Security – We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data. However, User understands that no security is perfect and will not hold NexGen liable, its agents or licensees for any unforeseen security breaches.

4. User Communications – When User sends emails or other communications to NexGen, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to User’s requests and improve our services.

5. Affiliated sites – Personal information that you provide to affiliated sites may be sent to NexGen, its agents or licensees in order to deliver the service. We process such information in accordance with this Policy. The affiliated sites may have different privacy practices and we encourage User to read their privacy policies.

6. Links – NexGen may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve the quality of our technology, content and services.

7. Other Sites – Our Privacy Policy applies only to web sites and services that are owned and operated by NexGen.

User agrees that NexGen may collect and use technical data and related information—including but not limited to technical information about User’s device, system, and application software, and peripherals—that is gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support, and other services to User (if any) related to the service. NexGen may use this information, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify User, to improve its products or to provide services or technologies to User. NexGen only processes personal information for the purposes described in the applicable Privacy Policy and/or privacy notice for specific services. In addition to the above, such purposes include, but are not limited to: (i) Providing our products and services to users, including the display of customized content advertising; (ii) Auditing, research and analysis in order to maintain, protect and improve our services; (iii) Ensuring the technical functioning of our network; (iv) Developing new services; (v) Providing updates of content with the use of notifications or emails. You may unsubscribe of opt out from future email from NexGen by clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email.

 

Information sharing:

NexGen does not sell, trade, or rent personal information to other companies. NexGen may share personal and/or use information with other companies or individuals outside of NexGen if a good faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary or to subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or other trusted business to process information on our behalf. If NexGen becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. We may share with third parties’ certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users who searched for a particular term, for example, or how many users viewed particular content.
